I love Fern and really like Anthony. I love the beautiful forest imagery that Fern conguers in my mind. It's a very short but sweet name. Anthony sounds cool yet also classic. It has an edge to it but it doesn't sound like the name of a trouble maker. I prefer Anton as a nn over Tony.I like Diana more than Diane, but they both feel a bit dated. Diana reminds me of Princess Diana and the Roman goddess who is the equivalent of the Greek goddess Artemis. So it has good name associations for me.I'm not fond of Ivor. It reminds me of ivory and Igor.

The only one I like is Fern tbh. I think it's quite a pretty name.

I love Diana. It's gorgeous, and I like the goddess association.Fern is kind of blah to me. It just kind of falls ungracefully when said. But I do like the imagery of a fern.Anthony, for me, is extremely "every other boy I met growing up." Which isn't really true, but it feels that way. Doesn't do a thing for me, doesn't pique my interest in the slightest.Ivor is a tad too unusual for my typical preferences. But I like the strong I sound in the beginning.

I really like Fern and Ivor. Diana and Anthony are nice names as well despite being more expected. Anthony is very popular where I live, but I still like it.

Diana - It's a visually beautiful name, with a pretty cool history (a Roman goddess; Princess Di, Queen of Hearts; etc.). However, that first syllable bothers me, reminding me too much of "die." I could use it only as a middle name.Fern - Lovely name! Pretty much the only one, imo, that can get away with having a long "schwa" sound. Really cute imagery, as well.Anthony - It's all right, though I prefer Antony. I also dislike the nickname Tony.Ivor - Not my style.

Diana - classic, elegant, enjoy the sound and association to the moon
Fern - lovely, enjoy the imagery of lush green and earthinessAnthony - classic, handsome, enjoy the sound and positive personal association
Ivor - dashing, prefer the long "i" pronunciation over the "ee" pronunciation

Diana - One of my favorite teachers was named Diana. I don't think I would personally use it, but I do think it's lovely.
Fern - I really like this. Again, I don't know that I would use it as a first name, but I would as a middle name. I've run across two animals recently named Fern, and that's probably why I've shied away from using it as a FN.Anthony - This doesn't do much for me. I don't like the nicknames associated with it, and I don't really like the sound of it.
Ivor - In theory, I love this. I'm not certain of the pronunciation, but I think it's an interesting name.

Diana: Love it
Fern: Love it, but I probably wouldn't use it in real life.Anthony: Used to be one of my faves. Now I just think it is alright.
Ivor: Don't care for it at all.

Diana - I prefer the spelling Dianna, I think it gives it a fresher look since part of me wants to say it is dated. I prefer it much much more to Diane.
Fern - not a favourite plant name of mine, in fact I really dislike it.Anthony - part of me thinks of Marc Anthony and the other part of my "friend", who doesn't do the name any favours. I dislike the nickname Ant.
Ivor - it sounds ugly and putrid, sorry it's awful.

Fern is woodsy, sweet, and spirited. I do worry that it's too backwoods, but I still love it. I'm indifferent toward Ivor. I prefer it with an "ie" sound because it's less like Igor that way. I've never liked Diana, though I do sometimes like Diane. It comes and goes. I thoroughly dislike Anthony.

I really like Diana a lot, but the likelihood of it morphing into Di would stop me from using it except perhaps as a mn. (Plus, I'm no fan of the late princess.)Fern? Not really. I knew a doltish Fern once, and I had a Fernanda colleague who was known as Fernie behind her back, so perhaps I'm biased. Anthony is excellent, but Tony is trite and Anton (and indeed Ant. Shudder.) is overused where I live.Ivor could have stepped out of a dozen 1920s novels; not a bad name at all, but nothing seems to have happened to make it feel new.

Diana - It's ok, no strong feelings on it
Fern - In theory it's pretty, but I don't really like the sound of itAnthony - Used to dislike it until seeing a movie with a character that changed my perspective on it. Now I can kinda like it if I think of it in that way.
Ivor - Like, ever since I read How Green was my Valley. So because of that I pronounce it ee-vor.
