I know I posted about this before, but I'm not sure how many of youse saw it and/or had any thoughts on it, what with all my rambling and other sightings thrown in.
My cousin had her daughter on the 19th, and both mother and baby are doing well. In the end the first name choices came down to
Rosemary "
Romy",
Blaze and
Essie. Yes, given their 'short and 'R'' idea, the two latter came way out of left wing. Yes,
Essie's name is inspired by the nail-polish brand. S thought it was pretty. They were sold on
Rosemary "
Romy" until S' partner's sister had diva hysterics because it was her favourite name ever, all of a sudden, and they decided they didn't need the drama. S hates her enough as is, and let's leave that at that. So, anyway, they have welcomed:
Essie Caroline Blaze, sister to
Bonnie Codie Taryn.
Disappointing, non?
And now I will shut up about my cousin's name choice forever.
EDIT: Oh, another cousin is expecting a son with his girlfriend. Apart from the fact that I really think my cousins need to stop breeding, I'm kind of glad to report that they're well sorted with their combos and don't plan on changing them:
Bartholomew or
Barthelemy as the first name.
Frances or
Frederick as the middle name. It will probably be
Frances, which is honouring. They may opt for
Francis. At the minute, they're mostly set on
Bartholomew Frances. It could be far worse! I mean, look above...
