Probably young and friendly. Kevin would probably be a computer geek, but could be anything really. Ethan would probably be popular with girls. They both seem like "smart" names to me, the type of people who would be kind of "geeky" or "nerdy" but super friendly and popular as well.
I wouldn't stop to think about Kevin; it's pretty well a production-line name - one size fits all. I'd feel sorry for Ethan for the feeble blandness of his name, and I'd hope that he didn't live up to it. Or down to it.
Kevin is a sporty but serious kind of name ... seems grownup now. It's like Brian. Doesn't put on airs. A regular guy.Ethan seems much more preppy and conservative - I feel like the name wants to be classy rather than sporty. Younger too. Could seem respectable, or bratty.
The name Kevin has an extremely bad image where I live, people instantly connect it with lower class and low intelligenceI can't really say what I feel about Ethan. It's not a very positive feeling although I don't know why...
Kevin- I'd probably think he's boring, because Kevin is really popular around where I live, and I find the name boring. Ethan- I think Ethan would be a really sweet, nice, personable guy. That's the vibe it gives me.
