WDYTO of this sibset?

Color associations behind, Scarlett and Amber have very different feels to me and I have trouble putting them together like that. Scarlett has only come into popularity in the past few years, whereas Amber had its heyday in the 80s. I feel as though Amber should be the mother of Scarlett, not the sister.
That being said, I think the color thing is a bit too much.

Hm. Well, normally I have a bit of a problem with color-themed names together (no idea why. I'm fine with flower-themed sets, or even precious stone-themed, but colors? Nope), but I tend to think of amber more as fossilized tree resin than a color, sooo...why not? The set has a nice vintage charm to it.
Both fine names, but the colour associations in a sibset would be too much.
I like them individually but not as a sibset. Themed sibsets feel so cheesy, particularly when they're word names.
It's alright. I used to like Scarlett more than I do now. I decided at some point that it seems kind of brassy for my taste. But I still like it better than Amber, which I think is an alright name but the sound of it just doesn't hit me right. I'd rather see Scarlett and Ember.

I don't care for them. I don't hate them, but they are not names I would use myself.
I like them both. Scarlett has always had sort of a dangerous feel to me, while Amber sounds more soft-spoken and sweet. I also sort of picture Scarlett with vivid red hair and Amber with a toned-down reddish hair color. I don't really know why.
I think these two make a great sibset. They complement each other well.

Nice names on their own, cheesy as a sibset.
Too colourful. Your third child would have to be called Green.
It's like tacky/flashy/beautyqueen girlname version 1980 and tacky/flashy/beautyqueen girlname version 2005 in one sibset.
I love the name Scarlett! I know a lot of people don't but I really like the 'scar' sound. It makes me think of Scarlett Johansen (or however you spell her name)who I think is really beautiful.
Amber is okay. Not my favorite but it's not terrible. I had a friend who's weird older sister is named Amber which is probably why I don't like it so much. I usually like the 'Am' or 'Em' beginnings to names.
edited to say that I think the reason I like them (and think they'd make a pretty good sibset) is that I don't think of them as colors or words at all. They are just names and no other assiocation.

Of the two, I much prefer Scarlett, but even so it's been a very trendy name here in the UK for a good few years now, so I'm a little tired of hearing it. Amber is one of those names I hear a hell of a lot on people my age and, again, I'm tired of it. I think it lacks some of the class Scarlett at least has a sprinkle of. Amber just isn't a pleasant name to me.
