I think a little too much of the future and what to name my currently non existent children, and usually I have quite formal, long or traditional sounding names (like
Rosalie or Helena/Helene,
Wilhelmina for awhile, and I love
Ariana for girls, and
Sebastian is my main boy option) but lately I've found myself drawn to something a little less like that:
Lyra.
I actually really love it, I love how it sounds on its own, and with my partner's last name, which is a longer Polish name ending in -ski, but relatively easy to pronounce compared to some. Perhaps this is why I am finding myself drawn to shorter names.
I just don't know how it would fair in the real world, what names to use with it, and what to name some of
Lyra's potential siblings.
Thoughts?
