Breaking away from my traditional taste with my latest fav
I think a little too much of the future and what to name my currently non existent children, and usually I have quite formal, long or traditional sounding names (like Rosalie or Helena/Helene, Wilhelmina for awhile, and I love Ariana for girls, and Sebastian is my main boy option) but lately I've found myself drawn to something a little less like that: Lyra. I actually really love it, I love how it sounds on its own, and with my partner's last name, which is a longer Polish name ending in -ski, but relatively easy to pronounce compared to some. Perhaps this is why I am finding myself drawn to shorter names.I just don't know how it would fair in the real world, what names to use with it, and what to name some of Lyra's potential siblings.Thoughts?
