I need a name for my character. She is named at birth and by the nurses. The nurses were there throughout the complicated pregnancy and while I don't want a name meaning 'survivor' I do want something special. Like I was giving the idea that the nurses would call her Gem and then the person would be taking care of her comes and take the nickname and names her say Gemma. And while I like the nickname I don't love Gemma, I prefer Jemma and while Im not naming her like she's my baby, I can't write a story if I don't love the name I chose.

So, if you have ideas for what the nurses would call her for a nickname or have a name they flat out give her. Please tell me! (And ASAP)
