I love Martha! A woman I know just had a daughter named Martha and I think that it's a gorgeous nameKurt is not my style, it sounds a bit too old fashioned and clunky.Bethany is standard and not particularly exciting, but is classic and always works.Seraphina is too frilly for my tastes

Kurt (like Kurt Cobain): this is my husband's name. We pronounce it KUWRT though (sounds like put). So it's hard to be objective about this one.
Martha: I adore Martha. We considered this for our daughter.
Bethany: I hate it. It reminds me of Britney.
Seraphina: I like it.

Kurt is just in the middle for me. Not awful. Not fantastic. Just there.Martha, is very old school. Though I have seen a few babies named Martha lately (maybe it was Gilmore Girls?), so maybe it is poised to make a comeback.Bethany is nice. I actually find Bethan to be more interesting.Seraphina is very pretty, though a bit too frilly for my taste.

Kurt (like Kurt Cobain) - I went to school with a kid with this name. It's nice, but it doesn't do much for me.
Martha - Nice classic and not too overbearing.
Bethany - It's okay, but a little dated, at least in the U.S.
Seraphina - Seems to always be a favorite on this site, but it's a great, elegant name.

Kurt- Is okay. I'm not enamored by it or anything. I think of it as a nerdy boy name, I knew a Kurt and he was a dork. But it's not bad, bit dated. Martha- Although I like older names, this is one I can't like. It's so grandma-y and floral patterned muumuus.Bethany- Meh. I like Beth. Not enough to use it, but I like it on other people. Bethany is blah though. Even though it's boring, I think I'd prefer Elizabeth nn Beth.Seraphina- Like the meaning, but I don't get the hype around this name. I see people praising it all over the place. It just seems overly frilly, frufru and a mouthful.

Love, love, love Seraphina. It's gorgeous. Kurt and Bethany are both dated, and ugly. Especially Kurt. Martha is a classic which I'm neutral about. I think I prefer Martha over Mary, anyway.

For Kurt, I think it's an okay-ish name though I'd rather stick w/ Kurtis.
For Martha & Bethany, these names appeal to all ages though I've heard it on young girls (especially for Bethany). Overall, they're great.
For Seraphina, I'm not sure. It might look great for a female firefighter since the meaning of the word that this name is based on is 'fiery ones'. For others, they might as well stay away from that name.
