I agree with the other responders... I don't see why it would be a problem. The names are not specific with surnames or other identifying details. How would it be different than those of us posting the name of newborns from our friends or that we see in the newspaper, etc?As unique as a name might be... chances are there are others out there. My daughter is Clarisse Bituin - would you believe that there are three people with that name, just on facebook? And... I thought it was a crazy unique combo. So... I guess I am assuming you would be upset if someone posted your daughter's first name online because you think they could either track it back to you, or you don't want people hearing the name and it becoming popular.

Neither. I just think it's unprofessional. As for not finding out - a poster was actually contacted by a student's parents after they found the post. It would just feel like a violation of my privacy for a nurse to put up my daughter's name.
