Please, please use Alfred rather than Alfie. Alfie sounds like a dog name. Frankly, it is silly.
As for Wolf ... more dog.
Alfie is lightweight and silly, Wolf is wild and menacing.
But Alfred combined with a less "out there" mn has real potential. Please rethink, for the sake of your son.
