Kids My Bakery Made Cakes For This Week
I've been working at a large bakery for the past month, and this past week I decided to write down the names of some of the people that we made cakes for. There are so many more than the names I've collected here, but I tried to choose the ones that were clearly cakes for children (because they're more fun). So here are some of the names of the kids we designed cakes for:GirlsAdelina
Elieana
Gabriella
Lucy
Adele
Alynna
Alexis
Haley
Kelsey
Ellie
Chyonna
Olivia
Zoey
FeliciaGuys
Seth
Mitch
Riley
Alex
Jackson
Brantley
Gino
Curtis
Ryder

What a cool job! If this were me, I'd be reading names all day long. I used to love it when my kids were younger and the Pottery Barn catalogs would arrive ... but I digress.I do like:Adelina
Elieana -- why the extra vowel?
Gabriella
Lucy
Adele
Ellie -- but only as a nn
Olivia
Zoey -- only spelled Zoe

The extra vowel in Elieana bothers me too. I really like both Elliana/Eliana and Illiana/Iliana, but having three vowels back-to-back seems confusing and unnecessary with this particular name.

I love the name Adelina.

Most of these are pretty expected. However, Adelina! Swoon. I truly like that. I also am surprised to see a Felicia. This is my sister's name and you definately do not hear it that often. It's quite pretty though. Chyonna is interesting, I would like to know how it is pronounced. The spelling lovely, though
I am not sure if it's real or not. Mitch, Gino and Curtis are rather refreshing to see on boys though.

Mitch? Who names their kid Mitch nowadays?Personally, I like Adelina, Lucy, and Seth the most. I don't like Elieana (too difficult to pronounce), Alynna, Haley, Alexis, Kelsey, Chyonna, Mitch, Riley, Jackson, Brantley, Gino, Curtis, and Ryder. The rest I could take or leave.
