WDYT of the Middle Name: June?
June is my middle name. I was wondering, what do you think of it? Does it reminds you of June bugs? I'd hate it if someone thinks of bugs when they hear it. ;-; Seriously though, you can be as honest as you'd like. Thanks...

I love June. And I especially love June as a middle name. It reminds me of summer and the end of school and the nickname 'Junebug' but not actually bugs.

Where I live, June is midwinter and we don't have specific bugs at that time.I don't like the oo sound in June, or in Judith and Julia, and I find the name dated - can't imagine a June person younger than about 80. So it's not a name I'd ever consider using, but as a mn, why not?

It's adorable as a middle name, a great alternative to plain Jane, and no it's never made me think of a bug. I'd seriously consider it as a middle name myself.

If I have a daughter, June will be her middle name as well. It was my grandmother's middle name (and the name she went by).

June is a great first and middle name!

I like it. It's sweet. June bugs never come to mind. All I think of is clear blue skies and running around outdoors.

Calling someone Junebug always struck me as the same as doodlebug or sweetie, not something gross. Not all insects are gross or creepy to people. To me, June is just another month name, like April, May, and August. It's my dad's cousin's name, and surrounded by Jeans, Joans, Jans and Jens, it just blends into the woodwork to me.

Bugs!? No. June makes me think: school's out! Early summer. It's a good name.I knew a woman whose first name was June when I lived in Texas, where the june bugs were insane in the month of June - you could not keep them out of the house - and I never ever connected her name with the bugs, even when she and the bugs were present at the same time and place. So your question seems a little silly to me!
