Re: Jill Duggar Dillard has given birth to a son..

Both names are fine on their own, but Israel Dillard is a bit too rhymey for my tastes (the 'i' in Israel is pronounced the same as the 'i' in Dillard). And what if, somewhere down the line, people start nicknaming him Is or Izzy? Both of those nicknames don't go very well with Dillard.I also feel there is an overabundance of 'd' in the full name, what with David containing two 'd' and the surname containing two 'd' as well.In short: there is a bit too much repetition in the entire name for me. But that's just my personal taste: I'm one of those people who prefers for given names to have as few letters in common with the surname as possible, for the sake of variety as well as to avoid rhymes.
