Re: Sibling Name

Beth is okay, but prefer it as a nn for Bethany, as I really dislike Elizabeth. But Beth and Ben are very sound-alike, like goofy twins. Meg and Beth make you wonder where Jo and Amy are.
I like Caitlin, though much prefer Kaitlyn, and don't like Kate much, but it probably fits in best with Ben and Meg. Claire is limp and watery and Rosalie is too fussy, while Rosie is too dowdy.
I like all your boys' except not so much Alexander. Alex and Ben definitely sound like brothers, but the one I'd pick is Patrick.
For a name not on your list for a girl I'd maybe choose Rebecca, but not Becky, as Ben and Becky sound cutesy together. Rebecca or Allison.
For a boy, James or Robert.
I think, therefore I judge.

Ha, I already occasionally get people asking if I use the nn Meg because of Little Women.
Margaret nn Meg was also on our list - and is again if we have another girl. It was inspired by a book but not Little Women. It's inspired by A Wrinkle in Time.
I'm not a fan of Little Woman. Alcott hated that book, it's sad that such an accomplished and interesting woman is pigeon holed because of it

Ha, I remember wanting to be called Meg when I was younger because of A Wrinkle in Time!
I've actually never read the book! *ducks* I want to someday. I've seen a movie of it though, so I do know the story.
I enjoy the book. It's a little schmaltzy, but sometimes schmaltzy is good.
