Moira: witchy. I'd like it more if I didn't find the OIR part hard to say.
Elise: el-LEES where I live, I don't care for the sound of it either although it's pretty on paper.
Jane: sounds smart and capable. The only reason I don't favor(ite) it is because it's yet another John-based name. Seems like there are so many. Jean, Joan, Joanna, etc. and all names connected to the bible / Hebrew leave me a little bit cold - there are almost none among my family that I've known (one mn Joseph, that's it).

I don't mind Moira but there are so many names that I like better that I don't give it much thought. Elise eLEEz, Elise eLEEze, Elise eLEES ... pretty name but really not worth the effort. Jane is one of my all-time favourites. I don't find it plain at all, and would merrily use it as a fn or a mn.

I can never decide if I like Moira or not. I really like Maura, but Moira always makes me quirk an eyebrow. Hmm. I like the idea of it, but it sounds funny on the tongue.Elise is a little blah for me. Perfectly elegant and useable but more suited to the middle.I'm loving Jane at the moment. I've always liked it for it's simplicity and elegance, but right now I can imagine it on an actual little girl and would definitely consider it.

Moira is alright, I don't mind it, though I wouldn't use it. Elise seems a bit dated to me. Jane is classic, simple and pretty and definitely my fave of the three.

Moira - love. I strongly associate it with the character of Moira MacTaggert (of Marvel Comics and adaptations), but that is in no way a negative association. I would absolutely use this name irl. It's very pretty without being frilly and ties into my own Celtic heritage.Elise - generally neutral. I have a niece named Alise, and all the similar spellings and pronunciations confuse my brain.Jane - like. I immediately think of Jane Foster, which is again a very positive association for me. Of course, I've also heard the whole "Plain Jane" thing since I was a kid, so there's that too. I prefer it as a middle name. I also prefer Jean (Jean Grey, Hermione Jean Granger) to Jane, if that's in any way relevant.

Moira is lovely. A character name for me, a lovely mother of a perfect family with I'm-old-but-still-gorgeous looks, and a soft Irish accent. She probably plays the flute, and beautifully, too. I expect she wears a lot of dresses and pinnies and enjoys flower arranging. She bakes, as well, and helps out selling cakes at charity events. She has the most gorgeous soft, slightly curly red hair. Well, that's just how I picture her, anyway. :)
Elise is gorgeous. It used to be one of my favourites. It does have a certain lispy, weak, quality, but it's still darling. I love it as a nickname for Elisaveta, though I can't decide whether or not I prefer Elsa. Still, it's an excellent name.
Jane is plain. I prefer it in the MN spot, but it's so filler there. Still, it's a very pretty name. I like it as MN #1 in a three name combo, it bridges well. I do prefer Jean, though, which is more fierly. Vicenta Jean Clarimonde "Vita" is one of my favourite OTT girl's combos.

I very much like Moira. It makes me think of damask prints and small portraits and museums. Completely endearing in sound and pretty to look at.Jane is lovely, too. Warm, friendly, and familiar, though I never quite liked it enough until I heard Hazy Jane II by Nick Drake.Elise on the other hand is quite nondescript. Not common on girls my age, but unsurprising, and a little bland.

Moira has really grown on me recently, I used to only be able to imagine it on a middle aged women, but now I keep thinking it would be delightful and refreshing on a little girlElise is ok, I just find it a little dull. It doesn't excite me. Makes a nicer middle name than firstJane is plain, both first and middle *yawn*

Well, I love Moira. It's my name after all. :)Elise I don't like very much. It sounds a bit sneery, snide. I like Elisabeth, though.Jane is very charming in my opinion. Some might call it boring but I don't think that at all.

Really like them all. They wouldn't mesh well as a sibset, since they have contrasting styles... well, Elise and Jane might work together.
I especially love Moira. It's a bit hard for me to say, and my husband cannot say it at all. But, I find it pretty in both spelling and sound and love that it is simple and fresh today. Elise is a go-to name. It will always work, be stylish, yet soft and delicate. Jane is a staple that is hipster popular right now, but I have always thought it simple and charming. Actually Moira Elise or Moira Jane would be lovely combos.
