As the title says, I guess! Think
Petronia,
Iphigenia,
Artemisia,
Eglantine, but for boys.
Firstly, I did a quick BtN search based on syllables. Any that stick out to you, for better or worse? Bolded are my own favourites, but of course I like them all to some degree, hence my picking them out.
AlbericoAloysius (
German pronunciation preferred)
AmadeusApolinaryArchelausAurelianoBartholomewBenedictusBenvolio (didn't come up in the search, of course)
CalogeroHesekielHoratioKonstantinLeopoldoLudovicoMaximilianoMichelangeloMontague MontgomeryNicodemusOctavianTheodosiusValentinoZachariasZephaniah
Secondly, can you think of any to add to the list? Open to anything, but the clunkier and more ancient, historic the better.
* I'll probably look up Shakespearean names in the morning. Might be some more gems there.*
Much obliged!
