Replies
Hearth: Nope. Too much H.
Atlas: Carrying the world on his shoulders. Nope.
Casey: Affleck. I like Casey Affleck. The name is ok.
Lark: "Let there be love" I like the look and sound. I prefer it on a girl.
Liesel / Lise: 16 going on 17. I Like this name. And I love The Sound of Music so yeah.
Rowen: Nope. Maybe on a boy. But not my cup of tea.
Blaze: Wow. I don't think so.
Mirna: I kinda like.
Gry ("Gree"): I like the sound but it looks like Cry.

I don't care for the look of Gry either. It absolutely looks like it should be pronounced like "cry." I'd hate to change the spelling though because I'd feel like it then loses the meaning.
Hearth- I first read this as Heath, so I fear it would get confused easily. I kind of like it in concept, though.
Atlas- I've always like Atlas. The association with maps doesn't bother me, because I love geography.
Casey- I like Casey for a boy, but there are many other better names.
Lark- I like Lark for either gender. I like the bird connection, and I like the androgyny of it.
Liesel / Lise- Never cared for it. It reminds me of diesel and just sounds slimy to me.
Rowen- I like Rowan for a boy, but not Rowen for a girl.
Blaze- Nah, it's too literal for me.
Mirna- This is too dated for me still.
Gry ("Gree")- As a GP, sure. But in real life I couldn't take it seriously.
Raimie- This seems like a nickname.

Hearth: Hmm...interesting. A little too wordy for my taste, but I can see it as a middle name. Not a very pleasant sound, though.
Atlas: Shrugged. The Ayn Rand association is enough to put me off of it.
Casey: I always liked this name, but I like it more for a girl. It doesn't sound as juvenile on a girl, for some reason.
Lark: Again, I think it's better for a girl. It's kind of pokey and spiky and cool. It's not a soft name.
Liesel/Lise: The Sound of Music. I can't imagine calling for a Liesel in a crowded supermarket. It would make me feel silly.
Rowen: Very nice, but I prefer Rowan.
Blaze: Nope.
Mirna: I prefer Myrna, like Myrna Loy. She was pretty cool.
Gry: Not diggin' it.
Raimie: Interesting. Like Jaime/Jamie, but not as childlike. Still weird, though.

I've never actually seen the Sound of Music.... Bits and pieces of the most popular scenes but never all the way through in one sitting. I've never liked Liesel before and I halfway don't even like it now. But then, I halfway LOVE it, it's weird. I should hate everything about it- it sounds like weasel, it has "Lies" right up front, but it's somehow just so satisfying for me to say; I like Lise in particular.
Lark is not soft. That's why I like it better on a boy. The "Lar" sound is just more masculine to me.
I like the Rowan spelling too. Rowen strikes me as more feminine I guess. I like Rowyn also because it looks similar to my moms name (Robyn) but I know that spelling would likely get shredded on this board.
I like Myrna as well, both spellings have neat meanings.

Hearth - Looks like a misspelling of Heath. Heath is a reasonably good name, although I think you'd have to be kind of "rugged" to pull it off - can't imagine a skinny, dorky kid called Heath. Hearth on the other hand sounds like a word and not a name, I don't like it at all.
Atlas - A bit much to live up to, but I do like the sound of it.
Casey - I find this a bit feminine.
Lark - A bit masculine. I don't like the hard "k" sound in a female name.
Liesel / Lise - I think Liesel is cute as a nickname for Anneliese.
Rowen - I prefer the spelling Rowan. I think this is more common on boys, and I prefer it on boys, but it's perfectly acceptable as a girl's name too.
Blaze - Definitely too masculine, especially with this spelling. I think Blaise would looks bit better
Mirna - This spelling looks awkward and wrong. Myrna is the spelling I'm familiar with, but that sounds like such a dated and frumpy old lady name.
Gry ("Gree") - Sorry but I hate this. It looks like it would rhyme with "dry" and it looks incomplete. It could possibly work as a nickname but I have no idea what it could be short for. Angry?
Raimie - Jaimie is cute, Raimie looks like a typo.
