I say "RAHZ-uh-lind", "RAHZ" rhyming with "paws" and "pause", and this is the only way I've ever heard it pronounced. I think it's a lovely name.

I don't dislike it and think it's a decent name, but it's not a favourite.

ROZ-ah-lind, and yet I pronounced Rosalie as rose-AH-lee, and I question why in my head I pronounce the 'Rose' part differently.

I like it... I like Shakespeare's As You Like It.. I do pronounce "raw-sah-lind". Unfortunately, In Bohemia its popular about Mexican telenovela Rosalinda.

ROZalind, not ROSEalind, "because" it's originally Germanic, not Romance. The ros- component is "horse", not "fragrant flower", and the -lind bit is "snake", not "pretty".

Plus, I've never heard the Roz pronunciation used where I live, though I was alarmed on first hearing Mrs Jimmy Carter's name on a rather bad radio channel. When I confirmed that she was Rosalyn, I relaxed.

I wouldn't use Rosalind myself, because of personal associations. But it is a nice name, for those who don't know my former colleague!

I say ROZ-uh-lind. Short O (like in Orange) and a short I (like in inside). I really like it! I feel like the 'Roz' bit gives it a bit more feistiness and personality; I find Rose-uh-lind too sweet sounding. I also love it because it reminds me of Rosalind Franklin.

I'm never sure TBH. It's like Helena that way. Half the time I say ROZ-a-lind and half the time RAHZ-a-lind.

Unfortunately it's very Brooklyn old smoker lady to me. :( I think I would like it much more if I pronounced it ROSE-a-lind, because I love Rosamund and Rosalinda.
