Julia Ivy?
I've about given up on middle names for Julia. Ivy is the only one I'm kind of liking. I don't want a long middle name, as our last name is long. What are your thoughts on Julia Ivy?I know some think Julia is dated, but DH and I have such different taste in girls names. Julia is the only name we can actually agree on. Thanks.

Julia is a pretty name and works well. The only reason that I don't think Ivy works well because of two vowel sounds next to each other which makes it sound a bit odd to me.

I don't think Julia and Ivy go together very well. Julia Ivory would be better.

There are a lot of young Julia's around me. Although i can see it as a bit dated, i also see it as quite popular right now anyway. Julia Ivy is a great combo.

I think Julia and Ivy are both lovely (not "dated") and I enjoy the feel of them together. Some are mentioning the flow but I don't think it's a deal breaker if you really love both names, especially when you are hearing them together with your surname.Other ideas, just in case (some nature-related)...Julia Carys
Julia Dove
Julia Gwen
Julia Kay
Julia Maeve
Julia Robin
Julia Summer
Julia Tess
Julia Winter

Julia is lovely! I'm not sure about the combo though. I feel like Ivy doesn't go very well with Julia. The flow is off. What other middle names have you considered?Just a few suggestions:
Julia Eve
Julia Wren
Julia Faith
Julia Belle
Julia Brynn
Julia Sky
Julia Claire
Julia Lark
Julia Mae
Julia Pearl
Julia Sage

Julia Ivy is awkward to say and does not flow well at all. I would try to find a one-syllable middle name that begins with a consonant. But Julia is a lovely name and I don't think it's dated.

Julia is fine, but with Ivy it makes a clunky combo.

You could do a lot worse. Julia's not dated, it's very much in style now and hasn't ever really been out of style. I prefer Julie myself, but your combo is decent.
