Lily
My favorite names ever since I can remember. I just noticed that I never really asked you what you all thought of it. Does its popularity bother you? Is it very common where you live? Do you prefer another spelling? What would you imagine a Lily to be like? To look like? To be interested in? What kind of job would she have? If you are one of the awesome people who see colors when they hear names, which one is it (synesthesia)?I am really interested in anything you have to say about this name, may it be good or bad. Just anything you can think of. It will be the name of my first daughter, that is pretty much set in stone, but I can deal with negative opinions :P :)If you had to choose one of these, which one and why?Lily Anastasia
Lily Rose
Lily Jasmine
Lily Yasmine
Lily Rosalia
Lily Rosalind
Lily Rosemary
Lily Aurora
Lily Eliana
Lily Sofia
Lily Elise
Lily Mirabella
Lily MathildeI guess some of them are a bit kitschy/flowery but I love that image.

I adore it! I think it's just gorgeous. I like Lily Sofia from your list.

It's hardly used at all where I live, for which I'm grateful. Some lilies are pretty, but the standard stereotype is drooping white flowers at funerals. Plus, I don't find the look or sound particularly interesting. A very good friend is Elizabeth but has always been called Lilli, that spelling, because that was the closest her elder siblings could get to Elizabeth, and on her it works, but I haven't been able to generalise from her to all the fields of Lily people around the world. On your list, I'd choose Lily Sofia without hesitation. Sofia combines elegance and toughness, and gives Lily the good squeeze of lemon it so badly needs.

I think Lily is one of the more beautiful popular names out there. The popularity does give me pause when I think about using it, sadly, but I still love to hear it.Lily Mathilde is almost poetic, it's my favorite of the list.

I like it (: Lily is such a sweet and innocent classic. One of my sister's friends has a 6 year old daughter named that, short for Lillian.Lily Aurora has the best flow IMO. Followed by Lily Jasmine. A combo I really love is Jessica Lily. (:

I absolutely adore Lily. I'd be very likely to use it as a middle if I had a daughter (my surname's in the top 5 where I live so very popular names would be an issue).I don't think I'd pair Lily with another floral name though and of your choices, I only really like Lily Mirabella, and would prefer Lily Mirabelle.

I'm not a big fan of the name Lily, but that's mainly because it's so popular where I live. Objectively it's a nice enough name. I have synaesthesia and it's a kind of indigo colour for me.I think Lily Mathilde is the best combo from the list. A lot of the others are too flowery with Lily.
