I've been considering going by Florence for a while now due to pronunciation issues with my birth name.
However, I live in the UK. Currently, Florence is very much on the rise, sitting at n. 23 on the UK top 100 for 2015.
Thankfully, I don't personally know any Florences, and the name was out of the top 100 when I was born.
So, I was wondering, would it strange for me to adopt a name that came into popularity two decades after I was born? How likely am I to meet someone in the top 30? Do you think Florence will become even more popular in the coming years?
