Shoshannah / Shoshana
What is your opinion of them, and which is your favorite spelling? What impression would you have of a girl named Shoshannah / Shoshana?

I have always loved the name Shoshana, with this spelling. I remember discovering the name as a child and thinking it was lovely.

Probably her parents were very religious. Shoshannah is way too biblical for me, even Shoshana.

I like Shoshana the same way I like Rivka. I slightly prefer the sound/look of them to Susanna / Rebecca, and I'd be more likely to assume they were Jewish. Also, Shoshana reminds me of the character from Inglorious Basterds.I prefer the more streamlined spelling. The extra H makes it look kinda like "shush Hannah" to me.

I prefer their cousin Susanna over them because it's less fussy.
Out of these two, I like Shoshana better. It's more simple; Shoshannah looks a bit overdone. Shoshana is a pretty name. I imagine a Shoshana would be an outgoing young woman with brown curls and a positive, sunny attitude.

I love Shoshana. I like both spellings but I guess the simplicity of Shoshana appeals to me a little bit more.My impression is of a young Jewish girl who lives in New York City (I guess my impression is based on the show Girls which I've never even really watched?).I'd be hesitant to use Shoshana because I'm not Jewish, but I really like the name.

Hi !!!I love this name!!
I also love the variant Susanna.Between these two I prefer Shoshana. It seems more usable while Shoshannah seems too heavy.I love Hebrew Names and Shoshana is simply beautiful!!
