How to pronounce: Brielynn
New baby - named Brielynn (newborn of co-worker, we only saw name in writing)My boss and I were guessing at pronunciation today. I say it is simply Bree-linShe thinks it might be Bre-eh-lin (like bri-ellen?)Then again, it could by bry-lin or something else. Not sure.______________________________________________

I would say "Bry-lyn". It's horrible regardless of how it's pronounced.

I would say it as you so, Brie like the cheese, and then Lynne.

My first reaction was bry-lin (bry like dry). But I can also see bree-el-en being an option, and one I find more attractive. A changed spelling of Briallen? Although that's pronounced differently.

Bree-lynn is how I think it'd be said, but if it's based on Brielle, Bri-ellen makes sense too. When I first looked at it my brain just went Bry-lynn (rhyming with cry) for some reason.

I would say Bree-Lin, too. It's so pretty!

I would assume it's bry-ellen. I suppose someone will have to ask the coworker! Or what I would do is avoid saying the name aloud until hearing the coworker say the baby's name themselves. lolI have an online friend who for several years assumed her daughter's name was pronounced a certain way--the way it's spelled--but then heard it spoken in a video she posted and I was not right. Hmm.

Hi !!!Brie is a cheese in my mind.So I would choose Brielynn in a different way.
I would pronounce it bri-eh-lynn with "bri" like in Brian.
