Francine I'd feel neutral. It's not my style bit it is a fine name. Same with Bridget. Though I know one Bridget that goes by Bridey and I think that's precious. I like Alma a lot, I know a girl about 10 with this name so I wouldn't find it strange on a baby. Sunny I'd probably ask if it was a nickname for something, Sonya, Allison? Hilda is a name I'm obsessed with. Pretty sure I'm in the minority bit I'd be beyond thrilled to meet a little Hilda.
Tristan is my sister's son and Walter is my cousin's son, so I like those names and they seem quite natural. I knew a little Ari who went to my daughter's day care, it's not my style but I thought it was a good name for someone else's kid. I love Cormac, would be delighted to meet one. Lake I don't like. I can't explain why Lake seems less like a name to me than River or Brooks, maybe because I haven't met one. I suppose it's one I may warm up to if confronted with it in real life.
