BA
One of my friends had a baby boy a few days ago...his name is Tully Leroy.Tully is in honor of her husband's grandfather. I'm assuming Leroy is also a family name, but it's possible they just thought it sounded cute with Tully...Opinions?

Its cute. I like it together. Better then a Noah James or Jacob Robert.

Totally cannot stand Leroy; I never can choose between Leroy and Elroy - both are ghastly.Tully, now ... that's a pleasant surprise! I wonder how the baby's great-grandpa got it. The great Roman author, orator and (failed) politician, full name Marcus Tullius Cicero, was known as Tully in England for centuries, only really ending in the early 19th century if memory serves. And I'd rather see a Tully than yet another Mark, any day.

I’m a huge name nerd but have honestly never heard of Tully. It kind of reminds me of the Finnish name Tuuli, which I like, but names ending in y are really not my style. Tullius does seem like a cool name, though.

That’s... quite the name. It’s not my style, but I’m sure he’s absolutely adorable and he’ll wear it well.

I don't care for Tully but I like Leroy. Leroy was my grandfather's middle name (: it is also used on two male relatives as well, both named after him. The flow of the combination isn't great. The-ee sound and L's clash too much for me.
