It's tough. I think they're equally fine. Today I'm feeling Katherine with a K more though.

I decided on Emma Katherine Grace (my future second mn) and Katherine works better with my last name that beings with H. So the initials would be EKGH, instead of ECGH.

I like Emma Catherine better. The C just makes a more visually pleasing transition. Katherine is definitely the stronger name though.

I generally prefer the Catherine spelling as a mn yet in this case, Emma Katherine looks more striking here.

Emma Katherine out of your options; myself, I'd use Katharine.

I associate C names with a very pale blue and Ks with a bright red. I almost always prefer K spellings, they're more vibrant.

Like Olwen, I associate E (all vowels really) with white/light gray, so Emma Catherine feels very bland to me.

Well in general I prefer Catherine, but in this combo specifically I prefer Katherine because Emma is a very pale gray to me, while Catherine is pale yellow and together they feel a bit lifeless. Katherine on the other hand is a nice purple color and compliments Dmma very well.
