Anastasia
Do you like Anastasia? What do you like and dislike about it? What are your main associations? I'm wondering if one association might be too strong. Thanks :)

I love love love Anastasia. I love how it flows and how it looks. My main association are the Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia and Anastasia (Anna) Kolchek from NCIS LA

I like it, and the nickname Ana, but I think that Stacy is too dated for a child.

I think of the Grand Duchess Anastasia of Russia. I think the name is gorgeous and elegant. It's on our list to potentially be used, but I don't really like the possible nn of Anna.

I like it, but I wouldn't use it because it's too long and has many different pronunciations. It sounds a bit too Disney princess to me which isn't that bad of thing.

I used to love Anastasia. I mean, as far as having it as my #1 name kind of love. Nowadays I go back and forth on whether it's really perfect, or just too much for real life.

I neither love nor hate Anastasia. I'm neutral on the name. I'm not too crazy about the nicknames for it though. None have every caught my attention.
My main association is Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanov of Russia. A lesser association would be the makeup company Anastasia Beverly Hills

I love Anastasia. I think it's a beautiful, regal-sounding name. It reminds me of Russian royalty. My main association for the name Anastasia is that of the youngest daughter of Nicholas II. (BTW, the 100th anniversary of the Romanovs' deaths is coming up soon.)

My strongest association is with the Lois Lowry series of books about Anastasia Krupnik, which I read and loved growing up.
But I've never really liked the name. It's overdone, showy and doesn't have a particularly attractive sound no matter which way it's pronounced.

Much too long, given that I also find the rhythm unattractive and I heartily dislike Stacy. And the meaning means nothing to me, so, not a chance I'd ever consider using this one.
