Livia, Lydia or Olivia?
If you had to choose one of these, which one and why? Does the meaning of Livia bother you (apart from having the same meaning as Olivia it also has the 'envious' meaning). Olivia, Livia or Lydia?

LiviaI don't know why. I like an old name with history.

LydiaI like the sound of Lydia and appreciate that the Biblical character was a successful business woman and later led a church and tried to help people.I would rather be envious than an olive, so I like Livia better than Olivia. I have also heard that depending on the root word Livia could mean life.

Lydia!Absolutely gorgouse and ageless! If I didn't have a neice named Sylvia, I would absolutely use it as a fn );All very beautiful names!

I dislike Lydia - 18th-century airhead - and Livia (the wife of Augustus Caesar); I love Olivia regardless of its popularity surge. Plus, it's a family name! I don't mind the meaning of Livia at all, just her apparent personality, though it's hard to tell really, at this distance.

LydiaLydia for me. She’s fun and a little mischievous, which I like, and I enjoy saying Lydia for some reason. I have a friend called Olivia/Oli, so I’d feel weird using Olivia or Livia, and Olivia’s way too popular for me anyway. Livia’s meaning doesn’t bother me.

Out of those options, I'd choose Lydia. I like Livia more, but the meaning does put me off. I'm just not a huge fan of Olivia. I much prefer Olive.

LydiaOlivia is beyond popular now. I wasn't surprised to discover it was the #1 baby girls' name in the state of Illinois, considering how many little Olivias I've come across. And poor Livia will just constantly be called Olivia her whole life.Meanwhile, Lydia is in my own Top 10, and is utterly gorgeous.

Lydia! It’s very pretty. Olivia is too popular and I never really liked it anyway. Livia seems unfinished. Lavinia also has a similar sound, and I’d choose it above the others.
