My first thought was Jackson too, don't really like the name
I don't care for it, but you can't deny it has flair.
I like it tbh, it sounds fun and youthful. I dislike Toya tho.
It's kind of boring tho, like it's one of those names that blends in... similar to the name it's derived from, Victoria. That's not necessarily a bad thing tho.
Also... calling a name "trashy" comes across as kinda classist. I'm not meaning to insinuate that that's what you meant, it's just a word that tends to be used in that way.

I like it. I think adding la makes Toya even better. And it's rude to call names trashy fyi.
It sounds immature and overly playful, which is to be expected, as it has the "toy" syllable in the middle.
It kind of has a pretty sound. But like a lot of names that were pretty much exclusively used by black people, it was only fashionable for a very short time and then sank like a stone, and so seem much more dated than other more or less faddish names.
I rather like it.
I don’t really like it much either.
