Ivy
Ivy seems to be more popular here in Australia than in the US but, despite its popularity, it's one of those names that makes me happy when I hear it. It's bright and sweet along with being simple and easy to spell. What do you think of Ivy?

I used to really like it, it made me think of the color green, ancient buildings, ice skating, red hair and hot chocolate which is a nice combination :) But it bores me now. I also dislike how it is close to IV. If it were still uncommon and the IV thing didn't exist it would be nice. Now I find it kind of bland and even a tiny bit 2010s dated for some reason. Same with Daisy. But I prefer the calm Ivy over Daisy which seems a bit flashy (maybe because I think of fake-daisy jewelry and decorations from the 90s/early 00s).

I do love it and agree it is a bright and happy name, but it’s sooo popular. That said, I don’t think I’ve ever actually met a little Ivy!

I'm one of the few who really doesn't get why it's so popular, it sounds like a celebrity baby name to me. It's not terrible but it just feels super trendy and completely like a stage name, not a real person's name.

I've yet to run into one in real life. I agree with your assessment of it. I used to be not keen on it but it has grown on me (pun not intended).

It's too artsy.

I used to dislike it (it made me think of IVs in the hospital), but encountering Ivy as a name in real life allowed it to grow on me. It's one of my favorite flower / plant names.

I mostly dislike names that start with I when it sounds like the pronoun. And Megan, pronounced with a ME-E-E. Just gives a very self-centred impression. Add to that the fact that ivy is a thoroughly annoying plant, and I really cannot warm up to it as a name.

I love it but I'm disappointed that it's popular. I'm in the US and I've seen a lot of kids/babies named Ivy.

I love Ivy. I find it sweet and simple. Unpretentious. I really like it a lot.

Ivy is okay. But I’d personally prefer it as a middle name.

One of my favorite names. It's one of those that are grandma-turned-youthful names like Heidi and Ada
