Jennifer
What’s up with Jennifer? It seems like it should be totally dead but it’s not. I’m beginning to see the charm? Do you like it? Do you think it’s classy?

I don't like it, I have never liked, you can't make me like it. Classy? No. Just smart-assy. Maybe because I've known so many so many Jennifers and most have been brats.

There's an elementary school-aged Jennifer in my neighborhood and I'm always surprised to hear it. Not really my top choice when considering the other names of the Jennifer era but there are worse ones to be had. Jennifer is so oversaturated in certain age groups that incidentally a former boss of mine had the exact same first, middle, and last name of a classmate when she was growing up. The other Jennifer was apparently very rebellious and it tainted their mutually shared name in reputation lmao!

My mother's name, it's boring. She just goes by Jennifer, not Jen or Jenny or something though she prefers Jen over Jenny. I guess I can see why it was popular because it's easy to say but also... boring. Reminds me of Jennifer's Body, the film and the song, as well know.

I agree it was supposed to be out by now; but I think what makes it stay is also what makes it good- it's strong, yet feminine, it sounds really nice and I think people do love the familiar, ultimately.

I've always liked the name Jennifer, despite popularity. I've met some wholesome Jennifer's in my life.

I think Jennifer is, objectively, a pretty name. It's elegant without being too soft, and has beaucoup nickname potential (but you have to like the "Jen" sound for any of it to work). That said, it was so popular for so long (like Linda and Mary beforehand) that it's on its way to becoming SO dated... that I foresee Guinevere becoming trendy before Jennifer bounces back.

It's definitely past its prime in terms of popularity, though it's far from dead. I think it will always get some use, but its glory days are gone.
I don't much care for it, even though I have a cousin I love named Jennifer. It's just so generic-white-girl (my cousin isn't white of course) and the fer ending isn't very atractive. I think Jenny is cute, but I really don't like Jen. If made to pick a jen name I'd choose Jenna without a second thought.

I like it, and always have, in spite of having been at school with a really dodgy specimen. Where I live, it had a popularity surge but not enough to make it unusably dated. I suppose it is classy; it certainly has a history and people tend to spell it correctly, apart from the occasional Jenifer, and wasn't there a naughty Gennifer who ... oh yes, now I remember. Ahem!
