Beatrice
Thought on Beatrice? What about Beatrix? Which do you prefer and how do you pronounce it?_______________________________________________________

I love them both, but have a slight preference of Beatrix between the two. Has a little extra umf. Beatrice feels slightly tamer and more basic.

While Beatrice is certainly a beautiful name, I prefer Beatrix. I pronounce them BEE-uh-triss and BEE-uh-triks. I would consider using Beatrix for a potential future daughter, but if my partner really didn't like it I could settle for Beatrice.*

It's alright. I think I would like it better if it wasn't literally spelled "beat rice". Thus, I prefer Beatrix.

I like both quite well, but I like Beatrix a little better.

Beatrice is a family name, going back to the late 19th century, and currently my daughter's name. We pronounce it BEE a tris; her nn is Bea, pronounced BEE like the insect. Beatrix is too Dutch-royalty, in spite of Beatrix Potter, and is mostly used here by Afrikaans families.

Beatrice is nice enough, but Beatrix is better, it has less of a wallflower vibe.I say BAY-ah-trees or BEE-ah-tris (depending on context) and BAY-ah-trix or BEE-ah-trix

Beatrice is so beautiful and elegant. Beatrix is so lovely and very unique. I don't care for saying Beat Rice makes so ridiculous. I love it. ❤❤
