Stella
I've been liking Estelle for a long period, but now I think Stella and its versatile-sounding beauty and meaning are going to replace Estelle. I just added it to my PNL, willing to use it in the future. What are your thoughts on Stella? What would you pair it with? Do you prefer Stella or Estelle?

I prefer the elegant simplicity of Stella. Estelle is ok too though

It's so cute, pretty, and elegant. It much better than Star and Starla but I prefer Estelle too.

I know soooo many Stella's. I think it's rather plain and ordinary. Estelle however is gorgeous and elegant.

I like it. It’s sweet and has more of an international vibe than Estelle.

Stella is a name I feel conflicted about. On the one hand, I like the starry meaning, and I enjoy many -Ella names. On the other, it feels ineffectual, whiny, silly, and reminiscent of the dated Stacy.Stella Blanche
Stella Briallen
Stella Calanthe
Stella Calliope
Stella Callisto
Stella Christabel
Stella Eglantine
Stella Felicity
Stella Gwenllian
Stella Iolanthe

I like Stella Callisto, Stella Felicity, Stella Isabel, Stella Millicent, Stella Penelope and Stella Philomel and adore Stella Blanche - this combo sounds vintage but it's completely usable. It reminds me of A Streetcar Named Desire.

I've always found Estelle unpleasantly whiney. Stella would be my choice, and I would consider it IRL. I also far prefer it to Esther and Hester!

I used to prefer Estelle to Stella, but now I’ve completely flipped and I prefer Stella. Stella is a beautiful, ethereal name that I can appreciate. Estelle can be considered the same really, but it’s a bit extra. Estrella is kinda worse though, to be honest. Estella is fine but I wouldn’t use it.

I personally prefer Stella to Estelle. My great grandmother was Stella, so I am a bit biased. Estelle makes me think of the singer and voice actress, and also it reminds me of Roman architecture. Stella is a bit more informal than Estelle, however.
