North Dakota is, once again, odd.I know dogs named Edna, Haven (no joke - it's a show dog), Esme, Betty, Deanna, obscure Norse gods - but none of the common ones. But my relatives' dogs are Sparky, Ruby, Andy, and Sammy.

Yeah, I know dogs and cats with unique names, too. It's just that there are also plenty of top 100 names out there.ETA: I was curious, so I googled popular dog names by state, and Jack and Teddy are apparently the most popular dog names of North Dakota. Or so they claim.

I've never come across a Teddy. I do know a few Jacks and Chloes
Most of the common dog names mentioned I haven't come across in ND. I've heard them in DC, but not here.It's not something special or anything, I just find it odd.
