Yeah, that's definitely something to consider when doing an honoring name - how was that person considered in their lifetime, and how are they remembered afterward? For each of my sister's kids she went through all the family names and my dad had to be like "NO" to several that belonged to family we never knew but he did and he said they weren't good people. Like his own grandmother, lol.

Yeah, that's always the risk when using family names isn't it! That's why I prefer family names from ancestors who are extremely dead, so I can freely project my ideas onto them. Gotta be at least a hundred years dead to make the cut, the deader the better.
