Re: Feminine form of Pavel?
Pavla is the closest match. It's very common here in Czechia where I live. It should also be used in Croatian and Slovene. In Russian, Pavla exists as a form as well; however, Polina (a form of Paulina, related to Paul / Pavel) is currently the most popular feminization.

Pavla is not used (commonly) in Russia, I do not even know if old times used. For refrence here is Ukrainian data - https://ridni.org/forename/%D0%9F%D0%B0%D0%B2%D0%BB%D0%B0Yes Polina definitely is more popular!
When I put Paul into English to Russian translate, it says Pol, not Pavel, so how come Pavel is used?
Pol is Russian form of Paul as direct translation, e.g. Paul in English book will be Pol in Russian translation of book or famous people called Paul in Russian written as Pol (example: https://ru.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%9C%D0%B0%D0%BA%D0%BA%D0%B0%D1%80%D1%82%D0%BD%D0%B8,_%D0%9F%D0%BE%D0%BB - Paul McCartney, Pol Makkartni) Pavel is Russian form of Paul that Russian people use as name.
