I often enjoy it as a middle name. As a first name, it's too tired.
The ultimate girl next door name. The oatmeal cookies of names. Classic, plain, homey; comforting and nostalgic some times, boring at others. I don't mind Emily, especially in the middle. It's really cute there.
It's better than Emma, anyway. It's very "basic" to me and like Julia, it makes me think of a prim, purse-mouthed young lady who can't just read classics just because, she has to make an issue of reading classics rather than, ugh, popular fiction!
It's fine I just like Emma, Amalie, Amelie more.
Classic. Of course.
I like it. Because personally, I feel that is pretty.
Overused but still beautiful. I used to dislike it until I met someone named this. I love Emilia, though.
Emily is a family name going back to the 19th century; I've always loved it, which is odd because I can't stand Amelia and Emma.
Emily has been super popular which kind of wore me out.
