I love Alexandra, and adore Alexa as the nickname. Alex is so boring and Lexi makes me want to hurl. Alexa is beautiful but Alexandra is better for the birth certificate.

I like Alexa as a full name better than Alexandra

I much prefer Alexa as the nickname. It's the only nickname that I like for Alexandra. It isn't cutesy like Lexi or masculine like Alex.

I love Alexa, and Alexis.

I don't like Alexa all that much...it sounds trendy. I prefer Alexandra without a nn but if I had to choose one it would be Sasha. And of all the others the one I hate least is Alex...at least it sounds like a natural nn and isn't trendy.

I love the name Alexandra! It's so feminine and a timeless classic that will age well...very pretty :-)

I must admit, though, that I'm not particularly fond of any nicknames for Alexandra, with the exception of Allie/Ally. Alexa doesn't do much for me, but I do agree that it's far better than Alex, which is all-boy imo. Lexi isn't my style either.

I actually prefer Alexandria. I do know an Alexandra who goes by Alexa, it's okay. I prefer Alex/Lexi/Ali.

I much prefer Alexandria. And around here, I only know of one Lexi. It's really not that popular, imo anyway. Alex is far more common on both boys and girls. I like it as a nn though, however I don't like Alexa.

I like Alexa, but can also consider the nickname Lex also.
