S&M ads featuring lascivious sex-kittens is certainly off-limits in a site such as Haggisbutt, which is frequented by pregnant and semi-pregnant individuals who deserve nothing but nurturing care.

AMEN! It's difficult when you're working on campus...
...and the person you're helping on an etymology project is a "devout feminist". She's pretty cool about Pavlos and Daividh, but those ads...Let's just say that I'm thankful she wasn't helping me on the "Hannukah Mound" project (when a Search came up with about 10 overtly pornographic sites).

No problem Andrea! I never actually got to see the ad - and I reloaded the page like 50 times - but I'm sure I would have been very offended. ;)
Seriously though, as you mentioned, that sort of stuff has no place on a page which is frequented by mostly women. I also think of how very sensitive some pregnant women can get. The advertisers should be grateful to be informed how lousy their placement was.
