i will be getting married shortly and wanted to give my fiance' a gift that had some thing to do with the meaning of her name. Does anyone know what her name (De Ette) means?

It's probably simply a combo of the common French diminutive suffix -ette combined with the common French-derived English name prefix De-.
De originally meant "of" in French, but ette has no meaning of its own.
