Well, not all gods are creators of course - it depends on which one you select. There are plenty to choose from.

Kilogram:If you are referring to what is translated in English as "IAM THAT IAM" as God's Name go to His Word and ask Him what His Name is yourself He will not hesitate to tell you if you really want and need to know, The Lord is not one bit bashful or ashame to pronouce Himself to any human being, though many times we feel like we are too evil and reprobate and unworthy even to think His Name. He put Abraham in the crucified hollow of His Rock and covered him with one Hand as He walked by proclaiming His Name using a great multitude of words, and after He had passed by him there and removed His Hands again Abraham caught the view of the finale of God's Word and Revelation of just WHO HE IS, WAS and Will Be Forever. GOd pockets His Name all over and inside throughout His Bible - it is His Written Covenant after all, and what most folks think of when they say Tanak or New and Old Testament - ONE WORD, ONE LAW, ONE TORAH, ONE FAITH, ONE GOD ONE NAME UNITED ONE ABSOLUTELY.The Name/Ha-Shem has replaced YHWH in Jewish thought. Before that Jehovah was designed from a composite of names God used for Himself to makind and specifically the peoples of His chosen nation Israel, because YHWH spelled out was lost in transmission of tranfer through the generations and the rabbis and sages didn't want to chance calling on God's Name in vain (without good reason or honor). Then Jehovah became to trivalized amoung people so Ha-Shem has been the acceptable honor to God in referring to Him by His Name these days in Judiasm. As a Messianic Hebrew though I will say to you and all others that God has given His Last Revelation by His Name, in this One Name which is above all the others He has ever used with us (peoples in general, the Hebrew people specific, and the nation of Israel - Yeshua or Jesus is Ha-Shem, this is God's Final Name and the only Name by which any human being may call upon Him by and so be delivered from sure eternity of hell without Him for that person's redemption as his or her Kinsman Redeemer. Yeshua is one Name which is God's He has guaranteed He ANSWERS TO with Yes and It Is Finished.

Er...For the Abrahamic God, click on Yahweh and Adonai for the meanings of those names. Jehovah derives from a combination of the letters of the Tetragrammaton and the modified vowels of Adonai. The name God itself is from Middle English, from Old English, and finally from Indo-European gheu- "to call, invoke".Sources: http://snipurl.com/dsbu (Jehovah), http://snipurl.com/dsbt (God).
