Oulifa
Hi!
I'm looking for the meaning of the female name Oulifa. It can be Arabic, Hebrew or German. Sometimes it is written Ulifa or Ulfa. It was the name of a Jewish German woman during the 14th century.

There is an english form Euiala. I do not know the meaning per se but, it has to do with ungulation - a sort of yodeling. You might hear middle easterners use that "la-la-la-la..." sound. It is meant to mimic the sound of the words Praise God or Hallelujah and a sound a horn or caller shouts announcing some set time or victory or encouragement.sr

Did you mean Eulalia?See here: Eulalia. But I really don't see the connection between Oulifa and Eulalia, sorry.Ulfa, on the other hand, I would wager is most commonly a feminine form of Ulf.
