I was checking the Icelandic names, but some of my famillies names are nto there. if anyone knows the meaning of any of these i'd appreciate it:

Kristin (pronouced: Christine, i imagine with the same meaning, but if other is know....)(F)
Gudbjartur(M)
Gardar(M)
Helgi(M)

ANd another none Icelandic, but another oen i'd like to know the meanign of is Shauntana (pronounced: Shauntona with a long 'O'sound(F).

Icelandic names

Kristin <- try the link, Icelandic spelling: Kristín

Gudbjartur - Icelandic spelling: Guðbjartur, meaning: God + bright

Gardar - Icelandic spelling: Garðar, meaning: enclosure, protection. A female version is Gerd

Helgi - Icelandic version of Helge

Shauntana - looks like a variant of Shauna to me.

Kristin is in the database, listed as the German and Scandinavian form of Christina.

Helgi isn't in the database, but Helge is, and Helgi may simply be a spelling variation.
