Lennox for girls
Revisiting the SSA statistics, I noticed a steep rise in the use of Lennox as a given name for girls in the USA in the last few years. Is there a simple explanation for this phenomenon (like a pop-cultural reference)?

It is a brand name of furnaces here. That wouldn't necessarily make it popular, but advertising may well have put the name out where it might be considered.I always thought Claxon (based on another brand name) could work as a boy's name. We went in a different direction, though.

Google tells me that there is a female character named Lennox on the show Melissa and Joey. Maybe that's the source of inspiration.
And maybe some girls are being named after Annie Lennox.

Thanks, SugarPlumFairy, the TV show is exactly up to the date when the rise occurs.
