I don't think there's much of a stigma . . .
. . . considering that Damian was 299th most popular for boys in the 70s, 331st in the 80s and was 164th last year, in America. Damon, which looks even more like 'demon', was only a little way behind it, and was in fact more popular in the 70s and entered the top 1000 as far back as the 1920s (Damian entered in the 1940s).
