Name Submission
Panther, Pantheras (m, Greco-Roman)
Our well-known carnivorous friend. The name is derived from “pan” (everything) and “thiro” (to hunt). Was used as a name in the Greco-Roman world. According to Hellenic philosopher Celsus (circa 180 CE) Panther, a Roman soldier, was the biological father of Jesus (see Origen, "Contra Celsus.," I, 28, 32).

Jesus' Father was God. He did NOT have a biological father!  ·  No one of consequence  ·  8/22/2001, 9:47 AM
