Trade has prospered since the birth of Lara and Dellorne is as rich as ever. The public rejoiced with Prince Alaric was born to the royal family. They were glad that a son had been born, since though Lara is set to inherit, some people of Dellorne still think that the son should have first claim to the throne.

Recently, rumors of unrest have been filtering into Dellorne. It is said that the exiled Duke Erik of Ronan is gathering support in neighboring kingdoms and that he plans to take the throne. Adelia is particularly disturbed by these rumors, as Erik was her brother (her marriage to Lucian helped cement peace after a rebellion) and she advocated for his banishment, rather then execution. While she is glad to have a son, she wishes that she would have only had daughters, as Erik would be more likely to spare a female heir than a male, if he was to attack the family. To him, the younger Prince Alaric would be more of a threat than the elder Princess Lara. Adelia hopes that her next child will be female.
