You have your first child in April 2015. To determine when you have your next child, you roll the eight-sided die and add the number ten (so, if you roll an eight, your children are eighteen months apart). Keep doing this until you get as close to April 2035 as possible. I don't mind a child past July 2030, as long as it doesn't go past December 2035.
For genders, flip a coin, using heads for girls and tails for boys. If you want an exact birthday, use the random integer generator. If you want to really make it interesting and use the same die to determine number of children in each birth, feel free to do so, but then focus more on how many births you have rather than number of children.
Names are entirely up to you.
