Louis and Addie’s new daughter was recently put into the Foster system when her Mom was killed in a car accident. Her dad, who was driving and drunk, survived and is now in prison. He relinquished all rights to his daughter so she could be adopted. Since the accident, their daughter has rarely spoken and constantly clings to a stuffed rabbit her mother gave her. Louis and Addie can tell that she’s a sweet and caring girl and they plan to do the best they can for her in her period of need.

Katya and Elias were finally able to officially adopt their twin daughters and take them home. Thad and June were contacted about a year ago by the adoption agency. A grandmother who was the sole guardian of her young granddaughter had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and wanted to find a couple to develop a relationship with the girl and adopt her when the grandmother’s time was up. Although it was an unusual arrangement, Thad and June eagerly agreed and have been enjoying getting to know their daughter over the past year. They officially adopted her about a month ago when her grandmother went into hospice. Her grandmother died last week.

Jericho and Felicity’s daughter was the child of a teen mother. Her mother tried to care for her, and did a decent job considering, but life got in the way and her mother just couldn’t support her daughter any longer. Despite her experiences, she’s a friendly and personable teen who loves to read. She is almost fluent in English after teaching herself the language.

He is a very curious toddler, and awes everything from potatoes to planes. Will and Clara couldn’t be more delighted with how he’s turned out and Clara just can’t stop taking photos of him.

Drew and Lila have been in contact with an adoption agency for a while now, but, as they say, it takes a long time and Drew and Lila weren’t an exception. When they were finally contacted, they rushed to the hospital right away to pick up their twin boys. They didn’t even have time to dust their nursery, let alone get twice the amount of stuff! They were able to meet the mother there. She is struggling with depression and feels her boys will do better with a more stable family. Although they feel bad for the mother, Drew and Lila couldn’t be happier with their little sons.

Although he’s very grateful to his new parents, he does have some trust issues so he wonders if there’s any ulterior motive. On the whole, Nick and CC are really happy with their new son. He has a ways to go, but he’s friendly, considerate, and ready to learn and his parents couldn’t possibly ask for anything more.

It is likely that she hurt her head sometime because she has seizures fairly frequently. The doctors say the seizures aren’t life threatening, but they will limit her ability to drive when she gets older. Besides her condition, she’s happy and healthy. She gets along well with her new moms, and is just plain excited about everything!
