Two years ago, Jannik and Chae-Won took their kids to Denmark for the first time, they spend three weeks there visiting Jannik’s relatives and exploring the country. The kids enjoyed the trip a lot and do hope they can visit again soon. Ji-su is one year shy of graduating high school, he is also planning to move to the USA as he committed to Oregon State University baseball team. Axel plots his university studies as well, but will have to wait for a few more years, he’d like to return to Denmark and study engineering at the same university as his father, for the moment he works hard on his academics and is constructing useful gadgets in his free time. Iseul is still combining both athletics, especially middle-distance running, and gymnastics, but will have to choose one soon, just like Ji-su she does not excel in academics, but brings home good enough grades. Freja has graduated from Busan National University with a degree in Korean language and minor in English language and teaching. For now, she is working as a middle school English teacher, but would love to open her own language school one day. Her boyfriend of two years is a fellow student who moved to Korea from Austria to study the language, they are currently in long distance relationship as he returned to his home country following the graduation and is working on his masters there.

Francis and Maryam were content with Lucinda being their last baby, and were shocked when they found out that they brought a little souvenir back from their anniversary trip. Maryam gave birth to their first son at the age of 44, just in time for everyone to attend the first wedding in family. Vivienne and Barnaby got engaged three years into the relationship, nothing grand just an ordinary day when Barnaby cooked a dinner and casually asked the question while they were lounging on the sofa. The wedding itself was a grand occasion though, the celebration taking place in a span of three days on an estate in Oxfordshire with no less than 200 guests in attendance. A year after the wedding Vivienne and Barnaby welcomed their first child, a son, who with his dark hair and eyes strongly favours his father in his looks. Thalassa is two years shy of graduating from boarding school, despite her mother’s initial reservations she is really thriving in there and is becoming a quite skilled show jumping rider, even taking a spot at British junior show jumping team. Cordelia did follow in Vivienne’s footsteps when it comes to education and is attending private school close to home, she is also taking private classes in piano and violin and continues learning languages, currently immersing herself into Japanese language. Lucinda had grown into a sweet and caring little girl; she adores her little brother and nephew and can spend hours playing with them and thinking of different activities for them. DS is a strong-willed little boy who loves everything that has to do with cars and Paw Patrol.

Fede and Sam had their last baby four years ago, a little girl to complete their half a dozen. Fede is now a coach that has brought a couple to an Olympic gold medal which is quite an accomplishment and he is now in position when he can really choose the students he works with. Sam’s creations are being worn across all levels of competition when in addition to her designer costumes she has started a line of affordable figure skating clothing. Vittoria is now a figure skating competitor herself, as she found out pretty early on it is not easy in figure skating world to be a child of famous parents, but she grasped that role with full confidence and is current Italian junior women champion, even beating girls 2-3 years older for the title. Francesco’s interest in cooking did not fade away with age and he can be often seen helping in his nonna’s kitchen, his ultimate dream is to open his own restaurant and cooking school to teach people how to cook delicious and nutritious dishes. Edo’s interest in hockey has been very short lived, as short as first puck hitting him and he was out, he still does enjoy football, but has no interest in it beyond it being a past time activity with his friends, his love for dinosaurs did remain though, and he would love to become a palaeontologist. The twins celebrated their seventh birthday recently and are still the polar opposites of each other, if one loves something you can bet the other one will hate it with passion, but they are still best friends. Raffaella enjoys school, while Lorenzo could do without it and would gladly spend the whole day at the ice rink, Fede and Sam are afraid that they have another future figure skater in the making. The youngest daughter is the most laidback of their six kids and just really goes with the flow, she enjoys pretty much everything from the early mornings at the ice rink, to preschool, to her twin siblings quarrelling about this and that, and she especially loves Francesco’s cooking.
DD3 has a short Italian first name. Her middle name is a unisex English name.
