A bard by trade and an entertainer from birth, Balthasar has always been the comedic relief of the party, even if his jokes aren't always the most appropriately timed. He always manages to find a way to lighten the mood, endearing himself to the hearts of his adventuring crew. The youngest in the party, he's become the little brother of the group.

Grynir Maldinack is a dwarf raised in the Crystal Caves of Delg Ravn with thirteen siblings and a talent for keeping them out of trouble. When his parents died in a mining accident, Grynir and his older sister became the providers for the family. One day, one of their young brothers became extremely sick with an incurable disease. Grynir nursed him throughout his illness, prayed to the deity of good health, and even sacrificed two fingers of his own left hand in an attempt to save his brother. At last, the deity noticed and rewarded Grynir's dedication by restoring his brother to full health and blessing Grynir with the powers of healing and the responsibility of preserving life whenever possible. However, the cost was that Grynir would take on the phantom pain and suffering of everyone he healed. Overwhelmed by the demands of his fellow dwarves to cure their every ailment at his own expense, Grynir fled the community and now roams the lands, never staying in one place for too long, hoping that no one will discover his power. He takes mercenary work and sends a hefty portion of his earnings home to his siblings.

When Jaxi was a toddler, she was left with an inventor who was at death's door and was in need of someone to carry on his life's work. He would die six years later, leaving Jaxi to finish what he started. The clockwork construct he had built to protect her was her only companionship, and Jaxi, despite being an excellent reader, had a tenuous grasp when it came to actually speaking the common pidgin, which a later party member would teach her.

I am having so much fun with this! I finally finished the story of my cleric from last round too, and have added alignments.
When the game is over, I’ll try to reply with a short story about how the party gets along together, unless you’ve got something like that planned!
Ariston Perceran Caphaxath & his companion eagle Risrath [wild elf barbarian, chaotic neutral]
Reverend Brother Dannad Tye Homby [halfling cleric, lawful good]
Carnon Radax Swann [tiefling rogue, chaotic good]
Carnon Swann knows how to get what he wants. As a child, Carnon learned quickly that people would assume the worst in him, including his parents, whose fiendish blood had lain dormant for 3 generations until Carnon came along. This led him to become a smooth talker with a devilish charm — no pun intended — who could talk himself out of trouble just as soon as he got into it, which he did often. His natural charisma helps him keep non-tieflings at ease, making it easier for him to pick locks, set traps, and cause mischief. Despite his skill at manipulation and deception and love for trickery, Carnon has a good heart and is a fierce friend and loyal ally. He has sea blue skin with scruffy black hair, gold eyes, sharp 5-inch horns straight up, and a prehensile tail. He fights with daggers
